How have the COVID-19 lockdowns impacted crime trends? This seminar will unpack the nature and dynamics of violence and crime over the past year, drawing on the latest statistics released by the South African Police Service on 14 May.

Speakers will provide different perspectives on how COVID-19 related restrictions have affected South African communities. They will also consider the implications for crime and violence prevention in the future.
