South African Crime Quarterly

This policy journal promotes professional discourse and research on crime, criminal justice and crime prevention.

The South African Crime Quarterly (SACQ) is a Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) accredited, peer reviewed journal published jointly by the ISS and the Centre of Criminology at the University of Cape Town.

SACQ is an inter-disciplinary applied policy journal that promotes professional discourse and research on crime, criminal justice and crime prevention. South Africa is the primary focus, but articles from other African countries are considered for publication.

SACQ has moved to an open access on-line management system. All submissions are made through this system, which enables authors and reviewers to track the progress of their articles. Submit a manuscript or register as an author, reviewer or reader here. Articles are double-blind peer reviewed before publication. Questions relating to SACQ can be directed to the editor, Dr Kelley Moult: kelley.moult@uct.ac.za.
