There is global evidence that gains in education mitigate the risks of children experiencing violence or perpetrating it in adulthood. And because children gather in schools, these institutions provide an ideal site for delivering violence prevention projects at scale.
Increasing children’s access to gender-equitable and enabling education and life skills is one of the evidence-based strategies in INSPIRE: 7 Strategies to Prevent Violence Against Children. This webinar showcases good practices and challenges from two school programmes: Safe to Learn and the Mental Health Module of the Good Schools Toolkit.
This event is jointly hosted by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), the INSPIRE Working Group and the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN)
