A detailed empirical study carried out between 2011 and 2019 provides answers. Drawing on a nationwide survey of nearly 900 South African Police Service officials, the research reveals the factors that contribute to police misconduct. This seminar launches a new book that analyses and builds on the survey results, offering unprecedented insight into the forces and attitudes shaping police conduct today.
